Welcome to the Canberra Croquet Club.

The Canberra Croquet Club has been a part of Canberra since 1928.

Our heritage listed lawns and clubhouse are located on the corner of Commonwealth Avenue and Coronation Drive in Yarralumla, nestled next to the Hyatt Hotel Canberra, on the edge of the Parliamentary Triangle, and just a stone’s throw from Parliament House.

We play three forms of mallet sport – Association Croquet, Golf Croquet and Gateball – and our Club is affiliated with Croquet NSW and Gateball Australia.

We have a very active membership with many members playing in regional, state, national and international events representing Australia.

Our members can be seen on the lawns participating in our regular weekly social draws or playing in Club competitions throughout the week.

We host a major regional Gateball event each year and a number of state croquet championship events on behalf of Croquet NSW.

From time to time, we offer introductory coaching courses for people who may be interested in learning to play croquet or Gateball. And we also provide more advanced coaching for any of our members keen to improve their playing skills. Learn to Play lists information on coaching and details on how to join the club.

Members of other croquet clubs, whether in Australia or internationally are welcome to join our weekly draws. Check out Playing Times for our daily draws.

If you wish to contact the Club please go to Contact Us.

We hire our facilities to community, professional, and education groups interested in experiencing a fun and innovative croquet oriented function. Lawn Hire contains all the information and a contact address.
