The Canberra Croquet welcomes experienced croquet players and those who wish to learn to play.
For those wanting to learn to play, the Come-and-Try days are a good place to start. These are currently suspended due to our full membership
The club conducts two Come and Try days a year on the first Sunday of March and August at 1pm. The next date is listed on our home page or email the Coaching Coordinator for information.
Learn to play Golf Croquet classes are also conducted twice a year through U3A. Check the Online Prospectus for dates and times. Completing the course allows access to Club Membership. All new members are required to complete a course of Introductory Lessons before joining the Club. Contact the Club Coaching Coordinator about Introductory Lessons.
Once you have completed your lessons you are invited to join the Club. Lesson fees are deducted from your membership fee when you join.
Our members can access the Club at any time, subject to the regular lawn bookings. We have a range of mallets you may borrow and there are no green fees.
Experienced players provide guidance and assistance to new members, including more advanced coaching opportunities, as mastery of the game requires application and practice over some time.
Members are encouraged to participate in the running and upkeep of the Club and to join in the full program of Club events and competitions.
